As per the European Union’s strict “General Data Protection Regulation” (implemented 2018) which are the strongest global standards for data protection and privacy:
The client consents to “Evidence Life Science” (and related group companies) retaining and securely storing their limited and basic contact information (which will only include their name, organisation name/s, email/s, contact phone number/s, history of communication with Evidence Life Science, your information/event preferences and any previous services purchased/used). The client understands that Evidence Life Science does not collect or store credit card or other financial information, which is instead, securely collected and stored by Evidence Life Science’s secure payments provider. Evidence Life Science will only use the client’s personal data to promote Evidence Life Science’s proprietary events, videos, reports, information products or relevant articles or complimentary content. Evidence Life Science consents to deleting my personal data upon receipt of written request by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The client recognizes that his/her data will not be shared with other (non-event-relevant) third parties, nor will it be transferred to other states or jurisdictions (i.e. outside the EU). It will also be securely stored for an indefinite period, as long as Evidence Life Science’s information and events are relevant to the client. If such information becomes no longer relevant, please email: email@example.com. The client also has a “right to be forgotten” or to change the data, and can inform Evidence Life Science at firstname.lastname@example.org. Evidence Life Science also does not use the data for any “automated decision making or profiling”. The client has the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervising authority.
Legitimate interest: If you have not offered your explicit consent to receiving communications from Evidence Life Science and Evidence Life Science storing your limited and basic contact information (see “point A” above), you may have been otherwise contacted as this information may be of Legitimate Interest to you (EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 Art, 6(1)(b)-(f) ). If this is not of legitimate interest to you or you wish to be excluded from future mailing (or forgotten), please email email@example.com.
